Bicycle Panniers

If you want to buy panniers for your bike, whether it is a city, mountain, folding, trekking, or road bike, you must consider the different types of panniers and bags, and especially the attachment or mounting systems for the bicycle rack, in order to comfortably and safely transport both your daily shopping and everything needed for a bicycle touring trip.

If you are looking for Decathlon bicycle panniers or any other kind and you are not sure if they are compatible, we recommend that you purchase universal panniers that are easily installed on the rear rack, ideally consisting of 2 pieces that distribute the weight in a balanced way and keep the weight and center of gravity low to ensure good stability.

Panniers for classic bikes

If you have an antique retro-style bike and want a vintage aesthetic, we recommend panniers made of leather; they are very elegant, but if you want better rain resistance, panniers made of synthetic leather or leatherette are more resistant without requiring maintenance, such as those from Monte Grappa.

There are also very practical panniers for retro-style urban city bikes made of canvas that, in most cases, can resist rain. There are very elegant models from brands like Carradice or manufacturers like Basil, Fast Rider, or New Looxs that allow us to transport things on a bicycle in a comfortable and elegant way.

Panniers for folding bikes

For folding bike users, there are several models of bags that are generally located on the front of the bike, allowing folding bikes like Brompton or Dahon, to name a few, to transport items comfortably; we can also find custom-made homemade models.

If you want to buy cheap bicycle panniers, you can choose to look for some second-hand offers for vintage-style bike bags, which can give a unique touch to your antique bicycle, or buy plastic ones at any shopping center like Carrefour or El Corte Inglés.

Panniers for mountain bikes

If you are a mountain bike user and you need panniers to get around the city, go on routes, or go on bicycle touring trips, you can use any type of pannier; in any case, we recommend that you pay attention to highly resistant and waterproof panniers from brands like Ortlieb, such as the Back Roller City models.
